ROYER TEAMS UP WITH GEORGES ST-PIERRE

Lac-Drolet (Quebec), August 20th, 2013 – ROYER, a Canadian manufacturer of work boots and shoes, is proud to announce its partnership with Georges St-Pierre (GSP), mixed martial arts world champion. From this day, GSP will act as spokesperson for the ROYER brand. The company is very proud to associate itself with a local athlete renowned for his extraordinary determination.

ROYER is a survivor of the Canadian footwear industry. Founded in 1934 by Louis-Philippe Royer, the company still manufactures work boots and shoes in its factory in the small town of Lac-Drolet, Quebec, for those who work in the most extreme conditions.

The partnership with GSP is instinctive for ROYER, which shares his values of strength, discipline and perseverance.

“I am proud to associate myself with Canadian people who have built a brand renowned for it’s outstanding quality by working hard each and every day.”
– Georges St-Pierre

A national campaign themed “Hard Work Commands Respect” will air in the fall to honour workers who work hard each and every day.
