Not up to the challenge

I bought these boots almost one year ago and loved them at first, I year later and the soul of the boot is starting to peel off and come apart. I do wear these every day but since I work inside in a machine shop and am not very hard on them I expected them to stay together a bit longer then a year. My old Royer boots took 3 years before starting to come apart. Think I will be going back to the old style and not buying these again.
