Thank you for your purchase of a pair of ROYER® boots!
We want to offer you an extra pair of laces as a token of our appreciation.
The following terms and conditions govern the promotional offer. Please read these terms and
conditions. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service
department at the coordinates below.
Terms and conditions
This promotional offer (hereafter "VLX Offer") applies to any individual, resident of
Canada, who has purchased a pair of ROYER® brand boots from a Canadian retailer authorized by L.P.
Royer Inc.
ROYER® is a registered trademark of L.P. Royer Inc, a registered company with a place of business
at 5085 Robert-Boyd Street, Sherbrooke, Quebec, J1R 0W8.
The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between L.P. Royer Inc (hereinafter
"Royer," the "Company" or "We") and the participating Canadian
resident (hereinafter the "Participant" or "You").
You must have initiated the enrollment process for the VLX Offer for the terms and conditions
herein to apply. By providing information on the process forms, you agree to the terms and
conditions herein.
To obtain a free pair of laces for your ROYER® boots, you must:
1. Have purchased a pair of ROYER® brand boots identified with a red "FREE LACES" sticker from
a Canadian retailer authorized by Royer;
2. Completed the registration process available at https://royer.com/vlx by December 31, 2025 (at 11:59
p.m.) on your phone, tablet or computer;
3. Have confirmed the validity of your email address by completing the verification step provided by the
registration process;
4. Agree to these terms and conditions.
If the above conditions are met, Royer will send you, free of charge, an additional pair of laces to
the mailing address provided during the registration process.
During the registration process, you can choose three lace colours (red, black, red/black). We will
accommodate your choice, subject to stock availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. If
your colour choice is no longer available, we reserve the right to substitute a different colour
lace at our discretion without notice.
The data collected on the registration process forms allows Royer to improve its knowledge of
ROYER® brand product consumers. It is possible for us to identify the model of the product you
purchased, your shoe size and the retailer from whom you purchased it. We also collect information
about your occupation (profession, industrial sector, work environment). Finally, your contact
information (email address and home address) allows us to contact you, confirm your identity and
send you the free pair of laces
By starting the registration process, you accept that Royer communicates with you. However, we
undertake not to disclose your personal information to any third party and to administer the
information provided with confidentiality and diligence, in compliance with applicable laws and with
the same care we use to manage our data.
Specifically, we are committed to complying with Canada's Privacy Act and Quebec's Act to modernize
legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information.
You agree to the following :
1. Receive communications from Royer;
2. Share with us information about the ROYER® brand product you have purchased, your occupation and
your place of residence;
3. Evaluate your satisfaction with the ROYER® branded product 60 days after your enrollment in the VLX
offer by completing a brief online questionnaire.
Please note that the offer ends on December 31, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time, UTC-5).
The registration form will no longer be accessible after that date.
If you do not have access to a smartphone, tablet or computer connected to the Internet, you can
contact our customer service department at (819) 549-2100, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time, UTC-5). We will be happy to complete the registration process for
you.
LIMIT PER PARTICIPANT
The VLX offer is limited to one additional pair of laces per pair of boots purchased, per person,
during the offer period, January 1 through December 31, 2025, inclusive.
The unique number (hereinafter "NUN") of each product purchased and other verification
methods allow for control of the limit per participant. After December 31, 2025, you will not be able
to purchase the extra pair of laces, even if the "Free Laces" sticker is applied to the box
of boots you purchase.
Only the end user of the boot can claim their free laces. The VLX offer cannot be transferred to a
third party or otherwise valued by anyone other than the person wearing the boots in their feet on the
1st day after purchase.
Non-individuals (organizations, companies, employers, retailers, representatives, etc.) and their
representatives are not permitted to claim the free pair of laces indirectly, on behalf of a third
party, or by providing false or incomplete information.
Entrants must be residents of Canada and have reached the age of majority in their province or
territory of residence.
DISQUALTIFICATION
Web hacking is strictly prohibited. Any person who attempts to participate fraudulently by
manipulating the security of the Web system set up within the framework of the VLX offer will be
automatically eliminated from the process by Royer. Moreover, persons suspected of computer hacking
will be referred to legal authorities.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
ROYER will not be held responsible for any damage resulting from using the extra pair of laces.
WARRANTY
Participants agree that the only warranty that applies is the warranty of the manufacturer or supplier
of the product or service.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to update, modify or replace any part of these terms and conditions by posting
updates and/or changes on our website.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and you may not, in the course
of participating in this offer, violate the laws of your jurisdiction of residence.
You confirm that you are acting in good faith for your own use and limit your participation to one
free pair of laces for each pair of boots purchased between January 1 and December 31, 2025,
inclusive.
We reserve the right to refuse the offer to anyone, for any reason, at any time.
We reserve the right, at any time, to modify or discontinue the offer (or any part or content thereof)
without notice.
