THIS CONTEST IS ONLY OPEN TO CANADIAN AND UNITED STATES RESIDENTS AND IS GOVERNED BY RÉGIE DES ALCOOLS, DES COURSES ET DES JEUX AND THE LAWS OF THE PROVINCE OF QUÉBEC. 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. SEE BELOW FOR FULL CONTEST DETAILS. PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES YOUR FULL AND UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF, AND AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY, THESE CONTEST RULES (THE “RULES”). 

 

CONTEST DURATION 

The "END OF THE YEAR GIVEAWAY” contest (hereafter referred to as the " Giveaway ") is organized by L.P. ROYER INC (hereafter referred to as "ROYER") in collaboration with Collaborative Construction. The contest is taking place throughout Canada from, December 30th, 2022 to January 13th, 2023, 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (North America), at which time it effectively ends. 

HOW TO PARTICIPATE 

No purchase is required. To participate in the giveaway, you must subscribe to the Instagram page of ROYER and CollabConstruction. They also need to tag their co-workers in the comments. Participants have one more chance to win if they repost it in their story. Nominees must live in Canada and have reached the age of majority in their province, territory or state of residence. Winners will be chosen randomly, but ROYER reserves itself the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the requirements or entries that do not designate a person for reasonable cause. 

The participant who submits an entry must also read these contest rules and accept these terms and conditions. Any attempt to defraud will void all of the entrant's entries.  

PRIZE 

The price is pairs of ROYER boots (maximum of 10) for their work team (provided that the model is sold on royer.com) The pair of boots will be given to the winner of the giveaway and it will have an approximate value up to $3600 CAD. 

 DRAW DATE 

The draw will take place on January 16th, 2023, at 1 p.m. at 5085 Robert-Boyd St, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, J1R 0W8. 

 

DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES 

All comments on ROYER social media and on CollabConstruction post will be compiled.  

After the contest closing date, all participants will be listed and exported to an Excel file. Each entry will be randomly numbered and then a number will be randomly selected using a number generator. The generator will randomly determine 1 number to be associated with the prize winner. ROYER will contact the winner on the platform on which he or she participated.  

 

PRIZE CLAIM 

Once a participant has been declared a "winner" he or she will be asked to claim their prize according to the conditions established by ROYER’s marketing department. The winners should claim their prize in the 60 days following the message announcement that was sent. Failing to do so, he or she will forfeit the prize. 

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS

DISQUALIFICATION

Web hacking is strictly forbidden. Any person attempting or suspected to attempt fraudulent participation by manipulating the security of the web system will be automatically disqualified from the contest and may be reported to the authorities.

 

ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE

This contest's prize shall be accepted as described in these rules. It may not be transferred nor exchanged or substituted for another prize or its equivalent in cash, except for the condition mentioned in the following paragraph. ROYER reserves itself the right to publish the photo of the winner on its various platforms.

 

SUBSTITUTION

In the event that it is impossible or difficult for ROYER to award the prize, ROYER reserves itself the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value.

 

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

ROYER and its partners shall not assume and shall not be held responsible for any liability or any damages caused by the acceptance and use of the prize awarded to the participant.

 

WARRANTY

The winner of the prize accepts that the only applicable warranty is the product manufacturer's standard warranty.

 

LITIGATION

Any litigation respecting the organization of a publicity contest or how it is being conducted can be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie for the sole purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. The contest is not managed or sponsored by Facebook or Instagram. Facebook and Instagram are in no way responsible for the conduct of this contest.
