CONTEST DURATION
The "Win Your own pair of Safety Boots" contest (hereinafter referred to as the "contest") is organized by L.P. ROYER INC (here in after referred to as "ROYER") in collaboration with Daphne Morin. It will take place in Canada from June 7, 2022 to June 13, 2022, 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time (North America), the final closing time of the contest.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
No purchase is necessary. To enter the contest, you must subscribe to @royerofficial and @Daphlive's Instagram page, identify the names of 2 friends they would like to win the prize with and share the Instagram Reel for additional entry. Entrants must live in Canada and have reached the age of majority in their province, territory or state of residence. Winners will be chosen at random, but ROYER and Daphne Morin reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the requirements or entries that do not nominate a person for reasonable cause.
The person submitting an entry must also have read these contest rules and agree to these terms and conditions. Any attempt at fraud will void all of the entrant's entries.
PRIZE
A pair of ROYER boots of the winner's choice (provided the model is sold on royer.com), as well as a BOSCH Powerbox work radio. This prize will be drawn from among those who meet the contest requirements for an approximate maximum individual value of $600 CAD.
DRAW DATE
The draw will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. by Daphne Morin at her personal residence.
DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES
All entries compiled on the Instagram of @Royerofficial and @daphlive will be kept as long as the participant agrees to the conditions of participation. After the contest closing date, all participants who submitted the correct answer will be listed and exported to an Excel file. Each entry will be randomly numbered and then a number will be randomly selected using a number generator. The generator will randomly determine 1 number that will be associated with the prize winner. ROYER and/or Daphne Morin will contact the winner via private message on Instagram.
PRIZE CLAIM
Once selected entrants have been declared "winners", they will be required to collect their prize according to the terms established between them and a representative of ROYER's marketing department. Winners must claim their prize within 60 days of the message announcement that was sent, failing which they will forfeit their right to the prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
DISQUALIFICATION
Web hacking is strictly forbidden. Any person attempting or suspected to attempt fraudulent participation by manipulating the security of the web system will be automatically disqualified from the contest and may be reported to the authorities.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE PRIZE
This contest's prize shall be accepted as described in these rules. It may not be transferred nor exchanged or substituted for another prize or its equivalent in cash, except for the condition mentioned in the following paragraph. ROYER reserves itself the right to publish the photo of the winner on its various platforms.
SUBSTITUTION
In the event that it is impossible or difficult for ROYER to award the prize, ROYER reserves itself the right to substitute the prize with another of equivalent value.
LIMIT OF LIABILITY
ROYER and its partners shall not assume and shall not be held responsible for any liability or any damages caused by the acceptance and use of the prize awarded to the participant.
WARRANTY
The winner of the prize accepts that the only applicable warranty is the product manufacturer's standard warranty.
LITIGATION
Any litigation respecting the organization of a publicity contest or how it is being conducted can be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie for the sole purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. The contest is not managed or sponsored by Facebook or Instagram. Facebook and Instagram are in no way responsible for the conduct of this contest.
