far so good

This is the second pair of Royer boots that I've had. I have worn the new boots on two separate working days - I always have two pairs of boots. My feet were very sore after the first day. I attribute this to the removeable footbed which will soon be replaced. My feet felt much better after the second wearing. Based on a previous review I selected a half size smaller than ususal - the fit is spot on. Other than a sub par footbed (Common with most work boots) the Royer boots have been fine. I would rather pay a little bit more for "Made in Canada" quality than almost as much for asian made boots. Once broken in I'm sure they will be great.

Great Feeling Boot

The boots look good and feel good on my feet. The size of these boots is slightly larger than my previous work boots but they worked out. I was surprised at how soft the leather and how soft the rubber sole is. They provide good traction as well. Hopefully the durability is there over time.

Worth the cash

Mine are a year old now. I'm a utility locator we do tons of walking they get more comfortable with time. If you spend lots of time outside in winter months though go with something with more insulation. I'll get another pair when they wear out.
